Darkness surrounding me. There right in front of me a face with fangs and claws and wait no, no it's gone. But then I feel the chill of cold breath travel up my spine. A figure must be following me, right behind me, I can feel their breath on my back and can the rhythm of their heartbeat. I gather up all my courage and slowly crane my neck to peer behind me. No, nothing. No it's my feet on the wooden floorboards. I'm sure...it must be. I shuffle forwards, curling my hands into fists for a tiny boosts of the feeling of strength, my nails pressing into my palms. My footsteps are as light as a cautious cats would be and my shallow breaths couldn't be heard by a thousand people. I
'What is love?' Mya flopped her head back into the dirt floor beneath her, grass tickling her skin and curling around her tangled strands of hair. Knees bent and dirty socks tapping on the wilting daisies and grains of sand, her eyes, decorated with purple rings, wearily focused on the darkening summer sky, littered with tiny wisps of cloud and dark tree branches.
